IAESTE
IAESTE
The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) is the world’s largest student exchange organisation for engineering and science students. More than 80 countries on all continents are IAESTE member states.
IAESTE internships not only aim to impart technical knowledge, they also emphasize getting to know the country and its people together with other international interns and to develop foreign language skills further.
Depending on the company or institution, internships last at least 4 weeks and up to 6 months. They are either completed in the summer months or during the semester. The local IAESTE committee takes care of interns, and usually organises a comprehensive support programme and arranges accommodation.
The target countries include all countries worldwide that are IAESTE members and exchange internship places with the Federal Republic of Germany.
