Project description online

PORT Magazin is released every year and gives a glimpse of the works that are created at Bauhaus-Universität. Works that improve the world. Works for which architects, urbanists and engineers, designers, scientists and artists sacrifice day and night, to create innovation. Something that has never existed before. Something that is able to change the world.

Wait. Does that be true at all?
Or ist that idea just an illusion, that motivates us for working even more? Are we constructing solely an illusory world with our projects, a "Wolkenkuckucksheim" in that we can flee, when reality gets too dull, too dangerous or too boring? Or is our work real and everything around us deception?

PORT is dedicated to those deceptions and illusions. It provides insight in the students thoughts and shows the ecstasy of finishing their projects and the madness that takes them over in their work. And this time, PORT is not only a book. It is a thought-provoking impulse. It will mislead the readers so that they think about how real their very own reality is. Or if they just live for another illusion.

Visit us at Marienstraße, flick through our book and get missled and inspired by the students works. See you there!
