Three second prizes, each endowed with 200 euros, go to
- The draft "Der Flugelefant" by Erik axis
- The draft "Fearless" by Jazmine McLay
- The draft "You don’t get me" by Judith Hirsch
The 1st prize goes to Vincent Cramer for the draft "Kopfsprung", endowed with 400 euros.
The backup_festival is about exceptional films, workshops, and discourse, for eccentric, philosophy, and film disco, an inspirational gathering of young international media scene. For the 18th backup_festival, that took place from May 18th to May 22nd , 2016, in Weimar, backup hosted a poster contest.
To bid was the festival poster, which should reflect the visual identity of the festival.
About the competition:
This competition was set up for students and alumni of the Bauhaus University in Weimar.
The winners received collectively prizes surmounting to EUR 1,000.00.
The prize money could have also been divided on more submissions by the jury. Furthermore, the winning poster was printed. This year's festival theme is Fearless.
