Project description online

Thursday, July 12, 2018 - 8pm

As part of the module AudioLAB of the professorship for Electroacoustic Music and Sound Design, an interdisciplinary concert will be presented by the students. Inspired by notations, pictures and Soundart, innovative and experimental musical ideas will be shown in practice. This will be implemented into a live sound installation in the sense of the expanded instruments of the electroacoustic.
Musical pieces by composers such as John Cage, Mauricio Kagel or Ge Wang will be played live with very special instruments.
Further there will be a live performance of "Ein Lichtspiel Schwarz Weiss Grau" by László Moholy-Nagy set to music in real time. And the painting "Die Zwitscher-Maschine" by Paul Klee, main theme for summaery2018, will be interpreted musically.
