Drawing excoursion: Wooden Churches in Upper Silesia

This summer semester our drawing excoursion brouht us to the region of Silesia in Poland. Again the "German Cultural Forum Eastern Europe" gave us some financial help and in the organisation of the program. Along with the ability having a nice time searching one ownes style while drawing we learned a lot about our common german-polish history. Ariane Afsari from the Cultural Forum organised a rich building- and cultural historical program over the days of Christs ascension. and we have to thank her a lot. The only bus business nearby Weimar, that stops poland surprised us with a brandnew bus and an eccellent and competent busdriver Heidrun. Nevertheless with wonderful wether and a rich program-pocket we had much opportunities to draw and try out watercolour overthe few days. In Poland we found hospitable and interested people. 2018 we will visit Poland again and looking forward to the next theme.
