The Hybrid Learning Studio

From March 2022, a former meeting room was converted technically and aesthetically into a multifunctional hybrid learning studio. In the approximately square 50sqm room, the entire electrical and network technology was renewed and expanded. Power and network connections on the walls, the ceiling and under the floor offer a great flexibility for a variety of different technical scenarios. Light rails and trusses on the ceiling offer the possibility to mount lighting systems and various studio equipment including cameras, computers and audio units. A newly installed suspended ceiling made of HWL panels allow for better acoustics and in order to divide and separate the room into different zones, a custom-designed curtain system was installed - this also supports the sound quality of the room. The final technical installations of the Hybrid Learning Studio took place at the end of February/March 2023 so that the first planned experiments and scenarios could take place in the following the summer semester.
